SUMMER PAINTERS

Student Works Painting is looking for motivated individuals to join our summer painting team! We are looking for the hardest-working, most motivated students (or student-aged people) in North Vancouver, BC who want to be a part of a tight-knit group of awesome people who earn what they're worth. Average painters for Student Works earn $8000-10,000 in a summer. We specialize in Interior & Exterior, Commercial & Residential painting. About the position: * Fast paced, fun environment * Paint outdoors with a crew of 3 people * Working with friends is encouraged, so apply together if you wish * All painting and safety training is provided; experience is an asset but a positive attitude is essential * We are currently hiring Painters and Crew Managers for the summer of 2019. Both positions are full-time hourly summer jobs and can lead to future promotion opportunities within the company. Position Descriptions: * Painter: This role is a fun and challenging position that is ideal for someone who is good with their hands and wants to learn a new skill and make good money over the summer. The ideal individual is hard working, coachable, independent and has effective communication skills. * Crew Manager: In addition to painting, in this role you would gain experience in leadership and would run a crew of 2-3 people. Ask to be considered for this if you feel you may be a good fit. Requirements: * Able to work full-time throughout the most of the summer * Able to work 8 hour painting shifts * Able to work from ladders up to 32 feet long (full WCB safety training and practices observed) * Able to transit/drive to job sites in North Vancouver * Able to work well with others and take direction and constructive criticism Benefits: Starting rate dependent on experience.
