Rainia - Rat Small Animal

Rainia - Rat Small Animal image 1

Shelter: BC SPCA - Surrey Animal ID: 496890 Birthdate: July 17, 2019 - Young Adult Spayed/Neutered: No Female What do you call a group of rats? It's called a MISCHIEF! And our group is full of mishief. 8 Sweet young girls that are quick and squirmy, but very curious. They need a home that will socialize with them (rats need lots of attention), and give them lots of healthy treaties so they learn all about how great the human-rat bond can be! They must be adopted in pairs or more to keep each other company. Rats are active animals requiring a large habitat. They need least two square feet of space per rat. The more space, the better! A tall cage with multiple levels for climbing is best. Habitat bottoms should be solid, not mesh or wire, which can hurt rat feet. Wire shelves should be covered to prevent injuries, too. We have 8 little muses: Agouti dark brown: Calliope 496888 Agouti light brown: Mel 496889 Light Brown Variegated: Rainia 496890 Very light brown cap: Hymnia 496891 (star and V in cap) Dark grey variegated: Thalia 496892 (star and heavy marking down back) Grey variegated: Terp 496893 (white on left cheek and star) Dark brown: Erata 496894 (dark brown) Grey variegated: Clio 496895 (4 distinct spots down back) More information on rat care is here: https://spca.bc.ca/faqs/small-pet-care/ Surrey branch is open daily Noon - 5, except Wednesdays and stat holidays.
