Purchasing Officer

Big Tree Construction Ltd is currently looking for energetic employees who wish to grow with the company in long term. We have few positions available: Position: Purchasing Officer (Full time weekly working hours of 30~40hours/week) Wage: $26.50~$30.00/hour (Depending on the experience) To be an eligible candidate for the position: 1.College diploma or University degree in Business/commerce, economics, management related, or field of study related to our industry is required. 2. Minimum 1 year purchasing related experience is required (Purchasing experience in construction material is preferred) 3. If the person has a diploma or degree but not major in Economics, Business/commerce, management related, or field of study related to our industry, the applicant should prove at least 2 years experience in purchasing 4. Be flexible to work in foreign time zone occasionally to communicate with the manufacturer/suppliers (time difference matter) 5. Flexible to travel abroad to meet with suppliers (Will not be more than 2 times a year) 6. A second language skill is preferred but not a must Duties Prepare order lists and purchase construction materials from different suppliers overseas; Assess and evaluate suppliers and products to be purchased from overs; Request quotes and negotiate price with the suppliers overseas for each item that company is carrying; Plan and create purchase contracts for purchasing items from overseas; Negotiate price, minimum quantity, shipping terms and return policy for each item; Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with manufacturer, and suppliers; Communicate with warehouse staff and the manager for check inventory and create ready-to-order list; Produce reports and maintain purchase budget cost controls Address: Big Tree Construction Ltd.; 290-   2025 W 42ND AVE,   Vancouver, BC V6M 2B5 Canada To apply, please send your resume to email only: bigtreeconstruction@hotmail.com
