He requires patient, gentle guardians who will commit to only using positive reinforcement training. Parker should be rewarded for calm behaviour. He is a lab through and through and wants a lot of exercise and adventuring. Parker would do best with an active person who won't leave him alone for long periods. He is very sensitive to quick movements and anything over his head, his new family should ensure they are aware of their movements. He will need ongoing confidence building. Parker seems okay with other dogs but we are recommending slow introductions to any new pooches. He would do well doing formal obedience training to help with his jumping up and impulse control. We think a home without little children would be best. Parker does urine mark, this should improve once he is neutered.
