He is generally quiet and likes to perch or snuggle in his bed. Although he can be skittish being placed in new environments he warms right up to you with neck and head scratches and will purr away contently. Due to his past history and his temperament he needs a home with no other cats or animals and as he was not brought up in a family home he can be fearful of children. Maylyn needs a cat savvy guardian that is able to read his cues for when he wants attention and when he should be left alone.
