Marine Mechanic

SV Business Group Inc. o/a SV Yachts & Boats (http://www.svbg.ca) is currently seeking a Marine Mechanic (NOC 7312 - Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanics) Full-time, Permanent job Working hours: 40 hours/week Wage: $34.00 per hour Main duties and responsibilities: · Review work tasks with the Manager; · Check and identify mechanical and electrical problems with heavy duty equipment, marine engines and systems, tools and machinery; · Test parts and components, including electrical & fluid systems to ensure that they are working properly; · Adjust, repair or replace mechanical parts and components on heavy duty equipment, marine engines and systems, tools and machinery; · Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work; · Install of new and add-on equipment and machinery on marine vessels; · Use testing equipment, hand tools and other specialized repair tools; · Report to the Manager in regards to work performed and prepare documentation.
