$5,000 · Live-In Caregiver

Compensation is generous. $5000/month has been posted, but room and board etc. and contract negotiations are expected. Supplement your retirement or quit your care home job! Willing to pay cash monthly. We have moved my 54 year old sister with advanced fronto-temporal dementia out of a long-term care facility and are looking for you to take care of her in YOUR HOME or possibly out condo to live. Stairs will be a problem for her. Currently she is living in our basement suite with a live-in RCA, but this is a short term solution as there are a lot of stairs that she cannot climb. I MUST WORK, so please no judgement. Any location on the lower mainland and we may be willing to provide a condo in Tsawwssen. Training will be provided. You are a non-smoker. We want a safe and Covid-free environment where we can still actively visit using PPE and take her out for walks. We will provide you with a very generous CASH monthly payment as compensation and respite care. This is a 12 month contract. RCA, RN or LPN who can provide a loving and peaceful home environment for her. She is non-verbal, fully mobile although quite slow, quiet and cooperative and very sweet and loving. Daily grooming, incontintinence care, meal prep, feeding assist, administer meds, daily walks, laundry, cleaning, companionship, personal care, medical appointments. We are willing to build a ramp if necessary if it's your residence and provide a hospital bed if/when needed. A walk in shower would be ideal for daily care. One on one care helping her with all aspects of daily living. Covid protocol will be followed with all visitors and when leaving the residence. You are MATURE, RESPONSIBLE, independent, kind, sweet and knowledgeable with elder and dementia care. This is an ideal position for an RCA or LPN or RN who is retired or with caregiver burnout or tired of working in an institutional setting. You must be willing to commit to a 6-12 month contract.
