Kitchen Helper & Food Service Supervisor

Position: Kitchen Helper Hours of work/week: Full time 30~40 hours/week Compensation: $14.00~$16.00 (No tips sharing) Position requirement:Completion of on-site job training Duties as a Kitchen Helper: Assist cook to prepare dishes and sauces, and wash, cut and peel ingredients; Keep the counter, tools and appliances clean, and remove trash and garbage; Wash dishes and tools Position: Food Service Supervisor Hours of work/week: Full time permanent 30~40hrs/week Compensation:$14~$16/hour (Depending on the experience) Position Requirement: Completion of college diploma majoring in tourism/hospitality, restaurant management, hotel management or related discipline is required OR High School diploma with minimum 2 year experience in food service with some supervisory experience is required Duties as a Food Service Supervisor: Supervise and schedule the servers in the restaurant; Train and assign duties to the servers; Check the inventory, and order ingredients and supplies used in the restaurant; Ensure restaurants employees are following company policies and safety procedures; Manage serving area operations and safety, keep equipment and tools clean and ensure restaurant hygiene; Solve any customer complaints or problem arise in the restaurant M Cafe Address:   2773 Barnet Hwy C, Coquitlam, BC V3B 1C2 Send your resume to: mcafecoquitlam@hotmail.com
