Deep Cove Osaka Japanese Restaurant We are located in Deep cove area in North Vancouver BC and are looking for experienced Kitchen Cook. Position: Kitchen Cook Working condition: Full time, Permanent Work Location: 4355 Gallant Ave, North Vancouver BC V7G2C1 Wage Rate: $15~20 per hour and 35~40 hours per week Job Duties: - Plan, Prepare and complete various Japanese dishes such as dons, teriyaki, noodles, appetizers, and tempura from the menu - Create new menu and make plating plan - Monitor food stocks and prepare ingredients for cooking. - Cook Japanese food, manage cooking utensils and determine food portion sizes - Ensure all standards related to food safety and quality are adhered - Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation - Help, train kitchen staff to improve their cooking skills on Japanese cuisine preparation, and supervise them if necessary Qualifications: - 2 years or higher experience in Commercial Cooking - High School graduation or higher - Able to communicate in English - Available to work in evening and weekends We welcome Aboriginal peoples, persons with disabilities and new immigrants who are qualified to apply for this position.
