Kate - Guinea Pig Small Animal

Shelter: BC SPCA - Surrey Animal ID: 465432 Birthdate: January 01, 1970 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Unknown Female Pipa and Kate are two sassy ladies looking for their forever home together! Both of these girls have beautiful hair, cute squeals, and lots of love to give! They require a home that will help them feel more comfortable in the company of humans, as they are very loving towards each other but hesitant with new people and new surroundings. With socialization, encouragement, and patience both Pipa and Kate will be wonderful companions. Guinea Pigs (or Cavies) typically live 5 to 7 years in captivity. Like people, each guinea pig has a unique personality, but all of them make make wonderful companions. They are gentle animals who rarely nip, and are generally quiet - though they do have a range of calls and chatters, especially at mealtimes! They are also known to make purring sounds when they are being petted and feeling content on your lap. The ideal guardian for a guinea pig is someone who is willing to provide a large, interesting habitat, as well as plenty of out-of-cage exercise, fresh food and water, and of course some quiet lap time.
