Kai Glass is looking for an experienced Glazier to join our team!

Job Title: Glazier (Permanent) Employer: Kai Glass Wage: $26.00 to $28.00 / hour (To be negotiated) (Overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the regular pay after 8hr/day and after 40hrs/week.) Employment Status: Full-time, 30 - 40 hours per week Working Location: B423-20716 Willoughby Town Centre Drive, Langley, BC, V2Y 3J8 Benefits: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay Position Available: 1 Vacancy Job Duties: * Assess and determine type of glass, frames and material required; * Measure, mark and cut glass as required and position & secure glass panes in frame; * Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products; * Replace, repair, and install commercial and residential doors, windows, and other related hardware; * Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment on-site; * Transport, carry, lift glass for on-site for installation. Qualifications: * Completion of a three- or four-year apprenticeship program or * A combination of over four years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in glazing is usually required to be eligible for trade certification. * 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required Please Do Not Call regarding the posted position.
