Interior designer

Eurohouse Construction Inc. is looking for Interior designer. Permanent, Full time (40 hours per week) Wage - $ 26.00 CAD per/hour Extended medical benefit package. Main duties: * Communicate with clients, determine the client's preferences, goals and requirements for the project; * Create interior spaces, develop design concepts and preliminary design plans; * Advise on selection materials, lighting and furnishings, adjust and coordinate preliminary plans with clients; * Develop plans and specifications for the final interior designs in accordance with current practices and codes, create detailed 3-D models using interior design software; * Estimate cost of projects and develop detailed plans, elevations, cross sections and other drawings and specifications; * Create sketches of kitchen cabinets and other furniture for client confirmation, followed by detailed working drawings for production/fabrication; * Oversee construction and coordinate construction works with management to implement the plans and specifications for the project; * Work in a multidisciplinary environment. In order to succeed in this role, you will need: * To have 1-2 years of experience; * Good English; * Knowledge of interior design software; * College diploma in interior design is required. Bachelor's degree would be considered an asset.
