Founded in 1917, JD Sweid (2013) Foods Ltd. is one of the largest poultry and red meat further processors in Canada. We service both the retail and food service channels and offer high quality products that deliver on taste. With locations in Langley, BC and Waterloo, ON, we employ over 600 people nationally. We are currently looking to add to our team at our Langley, BC facility: QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNOLOGIST Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Assurance Technologist is responsible for implementing food safety, quality program and policies effectively, providing positive evidence that such programs lead to the production of safe quality foods. The successful candidate is expected to participate in food safety and quality initiatives/projects and lead as an example for plant populations on food safety, quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for following established food safety and quality procedures. Provisions will be made to cover the absence of an employee in this position. The successful candidate must be able to work 2:30AM straight shifts.
