Early Childhood Educator

ECE / Montessori Teacher Les Petits Artistes Montessori Centre is a well-established daycare located in the heart of Vancouver. Our goal is to continue implementing various Montessori and learning programs and leading numerous educational activities in a safe and nurturing environment. We are committed to the well-being, safety, and development of children. We are currently looking for a teacher to fill a full-time position as soon as possible. Work location: 3150 Ash St. Vancouver, BC, V4C 0A6 Working hours and wage: Full Time: 35~40 hrs/week, Permanent Job Position, $18.00/hour Benefit: Dental, Extended Health (After 3 month of employment) Qualifications: · Valid ECE License to Practice · Hold ECE and AMI Montessori diplomas · Current First Aid certificate · Clear criminal record check · Good oral and written communication skills in English Special consideration is given to the candidates who: · Are reliable, responsible, and motivated to work with children from 3 to 5 · Have 2 years' experience in a Montessori environment (asset) · Have good communication skills in English · Are energetic and fit to work with children · Is ready to open or close the Centre · Is striving to join a qualified, motivated, and good spirited team Duties: · Plan and implement activities suited to children · Prepare and manage the Montessori material and other daycare equipment · Work in collaboration with other team members · Maintain communication with the Management and parents regarding children progress · Ensure that the classroom environment is clean and fit for children health. · Ensure that center facility is safe for children and comply with licensing regulations. · Develop and facilitate a communications plan with current and prospective parents.
