Early Childhood Educator

Looking for an Early Childhood Educator to join Evergreen Child Care Centre Inc. Position: Early Childhood Educator Employment status: Full-time, Permanent Employer: Evergreen Child Care Centre Inc. Location: 1185 Centre Street, White Rock, B.C. V4B 4C8 Working hours: 40 hours per week Wage: $17.10 to $18.00/hour (Depends on experience) Benefit: CPP, EI, Vacation Pay and Extended Healthcare Plan Duties: - Plan and develop programs and activities suitable of children at an age between 1-5 year olds. - Design and develop learning programs to meet children's physical, intellectual, social, cultural, creative and emotional needs. - Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding their kid's development needs and learning progress. - Maintain and update individual record of children handled taking note of the program's positive and negative results. - Develop listening, comprehension and motor skills using approved subjects in storytelling, role playing, games, music and creative art activities. - Supervise both indoor and outdoor play times including community trips and parks. - Release children only to those authorized by parent/ guardian, to ask for identification in order to ensure that the authorized pick-up has been verified. Qualifications: - Early Childhood Educator Licence to Practice required - Completion of college/CEGEP or vocational is required. - Current First Aid certificate, doctor's note and Criminal Record Check required. - Experience working in a child care more than 7 month is preferred.
