Employer: Lotus Child Care North Van Ltd. dba Willowbrae Childcare Position: Early Childhood Educator-IT/SN (NOC 4214) Employment Period: Permanent Working hours: 40 hours per week (Full-time) Hourly wage: Between $17.10 and $18.00 per hour (Depends on experience) Working location: #201-1226 Marine Drive, North Vancouver, BC, V7P 1T2 Benefits: Group medical and dental benefit plans, 10 days paid vacation per annum with 5 paid sick days Duties include, but are not limited to the following: * Plans and implements enriched programs in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice, and program philosophy; * Guide, demonstrate and encourage children's activities throughout the day; * Takes a leadership role in the classroom and provides excellent supervision and interaction with children at all time. Strong sense of responsibility and dependability; * Observes children in their surroundings and assesses individual and group needs; * Promotes open communication and works cooperatively and effectively as a team member, with families and the Academy's management; * Judgement and initiative in the early identification of program deficiencies.
