Early Childhood Educator - Infant Toddler

Dinosaur Daycare Ltd Job Position: Early Childhood Educator - Infant Toddler, Permanent, Full-time Job Location: 605 Mountain Highway North Vancouver, British Columbia V7J 2L5 Canada Wage and working hrs: $18.00 per hour, 35~40 hours per week (Vacation pay: 4%) Required Qualification: - Early Childhood Educator - Infant Toddler Certificate - Completion of Early Childhood Education or relevant course OR 6 month relevant work experience - Confident in English communication - Valid First Aid Certificate Responsibilities: - will be flexible to work in both infant toddler and 3-4 yr old daycare programs - will be able to open or close the day care facility - will lead activities by telling or reading stories and teaching songs - will be able to work productively with minimum supervision - will be punctual and have no attendance issues - will plan and conduct activity programs designed for young children - will multi-task and be organized in a stressful environment - will guide children with challenging behaviors - will recognize and understand child development stages - will know and practice childcare regulations - will be confident in English and has good communication skills Please, send your resume by e-mail dinosaurdaycare@hotmail.com
