Construction estimator

Chrome Dome Enterprises Inc. is currently seeking a Construction estimator (NOC 2234 - Construction estimators) Greater Vancouver area, BC. Job Purpose Summary Construction estimator is responsible to analyze costs of and prepare estimates on construction projects. Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Acquire understanding of the requirements of the construction projects; * Analyze data and prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labour and equipment for different construction projects; * Examine and analyze tenders, perform risk analysis, produce forecasts; * Obtain best bids from vendors and subcontractors, conduct negotiations; * Establish and maintain tendering process, prepare detailed reports; * Co-ordinate construction projects, prepare construction progress schedules. Education and Experience Requirements o High school diploma is required.
