Construction Labourer, Foxridge HomesFull Time Manual LaborSurrey, BC, CA Job Overview Reporting to the Site Superintendent, you are responsible for performing general labour activities on construction job sites. You will maintain cleanliness of the site as well as complete basic carpentry tasks. Maintaining a clean worksite, properly disposing of waste and scrap materials. Loading and unloading construction materials and preparing site for sub-trades. Completing basic carpentry tasks and supporting onsite team members and trades with construction activities. Complying with Qualico's safety program and relevant safety legislation. Essential Requirements As our ideal candidate, you are: Physically fit; you are able to frequently lift, carry, push or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. A creative problem solver; you can think outside the box for solutions without fear of failure. Comfortable using carpentry related tools and equipment. Other requirements Middle school education, must be able to read and write and perform basic math. Minimum 6 months of construction industry experience. Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation. Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.&nbsp What We Value Creating trusting and successful working relationships. Work Conditions You will work primarily outdoors, on site during regular business hours. Work will have exposure to noise from equipment/machinery and occupational hazards as well as dealing with inclement weather and dust. Overtime may occasionally be required.
