Coco And Chanel - Guinea Pig Small Animal

Shelter: BC SPCA - Surrey Animal ID: 473671 Birthdate: April 18, 2018 - Juvenile Spayed/Neutered: No Female Coco and Chanel were surrendered to us when the family member who bought them didn't have a discussion with the rest of the family in advance to ensure everyone in the household was on-board, and that the Guinea pigs were suitable new additions with the other family pets. They are still young and with continued gentle handling the new guardians will end up with a pair of very social, darling little girls. They are gentle animals who rarely nip, and are generally quiet - though they do have a range of calls and chatters, especially at mealtimes! Guinea pigs are known to grunt, squeal, whistle and chirp. They will even make purring sounds when they are being petted and feeling content on your lap. The ideal guardian for a guinea pig is someone who is willing to provide a large, interesting habitat, as well as plenty of out-of-cage exercise, fresh food and water, and of course some quiet lap time.
