Emperor Concierge Inc., based in Burnaby, BC, provides full service property management in greater Vancouver area. We are a fairly new business but is now growing rapidly and focuses on offering fully-customizable concierge and security solutions to rental properties, as well as full-time and part-time building maintenance management and caretaking. We are looking for someone to join our close-knit team that will support our growing needs. * Position: Bookkeeper (NOC 1311) * Salary: $25.00/hr * 40 hours/week Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Inputting up-to-date financial data into computerized system, establishing, managing and overseeing all accounting database; * Posting journal entries, entering and reconciling accounts and invoices, maintaining general ledgers; * Managing accounts receivables and payables; * Completing tax returns, tax and payroll remittance forms and other CRA/government documents; * Managing bank accounts and cash flow, reviewing and processing expenses report; * Assisting Property Managers on fee collections, resolving arrears and other financial accounting matters; * Organizing and maintaining all physical and electronic property files and documentation; * Preparing other statistical, financial and accounting reports. Qualifications: * Minimum 3 years skills and experience in bookkeeping or accounting management; * College diploma or degree in accounting, bookkeeping or relevant designation is required; * Highly efficient and organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail; * Proven efficiency with Microsoft applications and other accounting software; * Experience in property management and/or real estate would be considered an extra asset. Language at work: English, however ability in Mandarin and/or Cantonese would be a huge asset. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $25.00 /hour
