Program Coordinator The person in this position will have a natural disposition & friendliness towards seniors, and will be responsible for coordinating the program and service delivery of the Better at Home Seniors Outreach and Home Support Program, including: - Registering programs - Home visits as required - Data entry - Maintaining records - Submit reports - Performance Quality - Daily communication with clients & volunteers - Provide information and referral to seniors - Organize/run volunteer drop-ins and events - Work with community partners and agencies - Recruit/train volunteers - Participating in agency and community events Qualifications; - Min 2 yr diploma in related human/social services field / 2 yrs exp in social services sector - Min 1year working exp with databases incl client admin mgmt systems - Current 1st Aid/CPR, and Non Violent Crisis Intervention - Clean Criminal Rec. Chk - Valid D/L, min 3 million vehicle liability insurance with business class, and a clean drivers record. Required Skills; - Strong computer skills; Office 2013, Excel, CAMS, Access etc. - Excellent verbal/written communication skills - Strong team player - Excellent interpersonal and listening skills - Excellent organizational skills, file management, and scheduling - Ability to coordinate and balance a variety of tasks and projects. - Thorough knowledge of senior community resources and supports This position requires the use of personal vehicle, and union membership. Hours are Mon-Thurs, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Start asap. Wage starting at $23.23/hr.
