$1,000 · WANTED for later this spring Please..

47 years young lady looking for a quiet longterm property to call home no earlier than May 1st and hoping to be settled by July/August at the latest. Anywhere from South Duncan to Nanaimo, but Lake Cowichan excluded (my hometown and nothing left there for me after the passing of my mom) I wish for an independent structure, a fixer upper..be it a mobile home, Miner's cabin, carriage house/cabin and will also consider side by side duplex but no suites or shared accommodation please. I absolutely require a yard I can spend my sunny days in, puttering around in the garden, fixing this, landscaping that and just simply enjoying tranquility. I also wish to be within walking distance to a river or the ocean if possible so i can have a swim during the summer. I have two grand children who visit for a few days here & there, or my daughter's drop by, but besides that, I pretty much keep to myself and prefer not to have a lot of company. I get to know my neighbours though, and help keep eyes out for a safer community as well as partake in cleaning trash on the roads around my home on a biweekly basis. Now, the hard part of writing my ad: I have furfamily who are my companions and cause no damage, noise or issue. You wouldn't even know I had them unless I told you to be honest, but I want them to be known. They are great with quirky personalities that make me smile and laugh. They consist of two fixed and vaccinated bunnies and their loyal fixed senior feline. All are regularly vet checked and on prescribed flea medication. I am handy with painting, yard maintenance and other light repair so I won't be bothering you for every little thing that goes wrong and I like a clean and pretty home inside and out.
