Tucker - Labradoodle Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - West Vancouver Branch Animal ID: 521120 Birthdate: November 30, 2016 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male Tucker is a wonderful, handsome boy who loves riding in the car, hiking, playing with other dogs, tummy rubs, and snuggling up on the sofa and bed. Tucker would be well suited for a highly active home with a guardian who loves exploring the great outdoors. He is very strong and needs a breed experienced guardian as he can be very jumpy-mouthy; grabbing at clothing and hands and often mounting people when over stimulated. He will do best continuing to work on his manners using positive reinforcement training methods with an AnimalKind Certified Trainer. Tucker has not had experience with children and is very excitable when around them. He is still learning his manners and at times would like to greet people face to face with his paws on their chest so we are looking for an adult only home. Tucker is doing really well on leash but still tugs when he smells something interesting and wants to let his nose lead him! He knows sit, stay, and wait... which he does very patiently. He loves to play fetch and play with his toys and is very good with other dogs, however, we feel he would be most successful as a single pet in the home. He has no destructive behavior and can be trusted when left alone. Tucker will thrive with lots of love and patience. ***Due to COVID-19 We've made changes to our adoption process.*** To adopt: 1.
