Job Description:Account Manager (Sales) 1. Plan direct and evaluate the activities of sales departments in commercial, industrial, wholesale and retail and other establishments 2.Organize regional and divisional sales operations 3.Establish organizational policies and procedures in relation to sales 4.Determine strategic planning related to new product lines 5.Lead sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts 6.Recruit, organize, train and manage staff 7.May work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field. 8.Generate new sales using existing and potential customer networks. 9.Develop positive relationship with clients. 10.Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives. 11.Forecasting and monitoring account metrics for each client 12.Communicating progress of quarterly, monthly, and yearly initiatives to stakeholders 13.Preparing account reports as requested by clients or supervisor 14.Collaborating with other teams and departments to meet client needs and create new opportunities 15.Ensuring timely and accurate delivery to meet customer needs and aims 16.Providing customer service to clients on all accounts 17.Negotiating contracts in the best interests of clients and organizations 18.
