Position Title: General Packing AssociateLocation: Langley/AbbotsfordHighline Vision and Values:We aim to passionately nourish people, community and environment, through embracing our core values of integrity, excellence, care, respect, effort, openness and fairness, in all our activities.Position Summary:This position is responsible for grading, labeling, and packaging for both incoming and outgoing product, order preparation, shipping, and general compliance with all operating procedures.Duties and Responsibilities:General Duties:Weighs, sorts, wraps, and packs mushroomsRotates through various positions on the lineMay load, stack, prep and clean the line as requiredPerforms any other duties that may be assigned as requiredSafety:Adheres to the Safety Policies, including use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipmentReports unsafe conditions immediately to the SupervisorReports all incidents, injuries and near misses to the Supervisor immediatelyCooperates in the Early and Safe Return to Work Program if an injury or medical illness requires accommodationFood Safety:Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) as trainedQuality:Adheres to all quality standards per customer specificationsTools and Equipment:ScaleConveyorHand jackOrganizational Relationships:Reports to:Packaging SupervisorQualifications:Must be eligible to work in Canada. Must be at least 16 years of age.Working Conditions:Work requires weekend and/or evening work and some holidays.
