AWARE Society is partnering with Discovery Community College to offer a Diploma Program that will prepare you for a successful career as a Health Care Assistant The 9-month program includes: Classroom theory and Lab Courses 10-week Clinical Practice Experience First Aid, Medication Administration &amp Food Safe Certification Employability and Job Search Skills support Follow up and job search support upon completion of the program This program is open to unemployed BC residents legally entitled to work in Canada who have established a regular EI claim or parental claim in the past 10 years.
