We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join us! Position: Administrative Assistant (Permanent) Employer: JK Immigration Consulting Inc. Working Location: 6560 Lochdale Street, Burnaby, BC, V5B 2M8 Hourly Wage: $25.00 per hour (Overtime pay will be paid at a-time-and-a-half for the time after 8hrs/day and over 40 hrs/wk.) Working Hours: Full-time, 30-35 hrs per week Benefits: Vacation is entitlement of 4% fee or 10 days paid vacation Available Position(s): 1 Job Duties: – Determine and establish office procedures and routines, and assist with day to day operations, – Arrange, schedule, and confirm appointments, and conference calls, – Answer phone calls and electronic enquiries and relay calls and compile information, – Open and distribute regular and electronic mail and co-ordinate the flow of information, – Order office supplies and maintain inventory, – Assist with administrative support by preparing, typing and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, – Maintain computerized information filing systems, ensuring information is up to date. Qualifications: – Completion of College/CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience is required. – Proficiency in computer skills such as MS Excel, MS Office, MS Word, etc. – Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
