Positions are open to men and women and being older is an asset. We service passenger cars, light trucks and motor homes. No ax work. We need people that can grade and price tires, deal with customers, sell product, install and balance tires as well as repair tires. Must be familiar with costar. The better you are, the more you'll make. [ 12-20 an hour] Could include company benefits too. Also: We are now looking for entry level people as well. Reply with a Verifiable resume ( we will call whoever you worked for and ask about you) and a current drivers abstract.Winter weather is just around the corner and that means B.C.'s winter tire rules come into effect as of Sunday, Oct. 1.
Drivers will be required to equip their vehicles with winter tires if they plan to travel on certain highways such as the Malahat, Highway 14, Highway 4 and Highway 28.
Tires must have 3.5 MM or better tread.
Drivers who don't have the proper winter tires on their vehicle on the designated routes can receive a fine of $121, and those who don't have the minimum tread depth on their tires (3.5mm) on the designated routes can receive a fine of $109.
