Eyestar Optical is a leading Eyewear store in the Greater Vancouver area. We carry variety of products of glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses. Now we are growing every year, and now we are recruiting people for several positions.
1. Prepare order lists for products from suppliers 2. Analyze quantity ordered, and report to the purchasing officer to determine order quantity for each item. 3. Check samples of new items and analyze the market trend for future orders4. Check the inventory level and report to the purchasing officer5. Communicate with the shipping companies and customs for shipping terms, lead time, and payment methods 6. Inspect the quality of the product purchased and report any defects to the suppliers
Qualifications for the position: 1.College diploma or University degree is required（business related field preferred but not a must if having relevant work experience）. 2. Minimum 1 year experience in retail/wholesale or Minimum 1 year experience in buyer/purchasing duties is required. 3. For candidates only has secondary school diploma, the candidate must prove 2 year buyer/purchasing experience in retail or wholesale setting. 3. Fluent in English 4. Open to work in flexible hours in order to communicate with the manufacturer and partner agents abroad (usually china time)5.Flexible to travel abroad for business6. Mandarin Chinese ability is preferred but not required
Wage offered: $20.00~$21.00/hourly (Wage offered may vary depending on the experience)
Working hours: 30~40 hours/week
