This Parlor Cabinet Treadle Sewing Belonged to My Grandmother Who Got it from Her Mother- In- Law Rare sewing machine not your typical Singer Sewing machine. Will be difficult to find another one like it
Research on this Item Has Proven Dismal but I Have Found out That it Was Manufactured by the Illinois Sewing Machine Company Located in Chicago Which Operated from 1895 to 1897
(Information Taken from the Historical Trade Literature Smithsonian Institutions Collections) it Was Definitely Used as a Parlor Cabinet by the Markings on the Top. It Was Designed to Function as an End Table, a Serving Table or Display Table. Attachments Included as Pictured This Is a Rare Find for the Avid Sewing Collector. I Hate to Part with it but I Just Do Not Have a Place for it in My Home.
