"O Sushi" Japanese Restaurant located at 742 Granville Street. Vancouver is looking to hire an experienced full time Cook. Details are below. Position: Cook Working Condition: Full Time, Permanent, 40 hrs per week Wage: $16~19.50 per hour Work Location: 742 Granville Street Vancouver BC Job Description: - Preparing and cooking Sushi, Sashimi, rolls and other Japanese dishes - Running the kitchen and maintaining records that what food has been prepared and what ingredients were used - Ensuring food quality, presentation, and proportions - Cooking food by either steaming, roasting, frying, braising or baking - Training kitchen staff to improve their culinary skills on preparing Japanese cuisine. - Ensuring maintenance of food temperatures, and functionality of kitchen - Checking and maintaining inventory Minimum Qualification Include: - High School Diploma - Minimum 2 year experience commercial cooking - Basic understanding of cooking and knife handling skills - Available on evenings and weekends - Able to communicate in English Start Date: As soon As Possible If you meet all of the requirements, please send your resume by e-mail osushiinformation@gmail.com Selected candidate will be contacted.
