Position: Food Service Supervisor (Full-time, Permanent) Wage: between $14 and $15 per hour (depends on experience) Working hours: 40 hrs/week Employer: Baggio Gelateria And Pizzeria Inc. Location: 1089 Marinaside Crescent, Vancouver, BC, V6Z 2Z4 Available Position: 1 Benefit: 10 days paid vacation, or 4% vacation pay Duties: - Direct and coordinate the activities of food service workers in the kitchen and dining areas - Supervise the food quality and ensure that daily handmade pizza & gelato conform to the health and safety standards of the restaurant - Handle shift schedules for food service workers and assign them tasks on a daily basis - Ensure that food items are stored in a safe place and any expired items are dealt with according to company regulations - Ensure appropriate cleaning and maintenance of food preparation areas and equipment Qualifications: - Completion of secondary school education - Completion of a community college program in food service administration or related discipline or Several years of experience in food preparation or service are required Please send your resume with cover letter to baggio.gnp@gmail.com; however, only selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.
