$120 · ClearPC Sony Playstation 3 Slim Security Case
The newest ClearPC® security case is made for the new Sony Playstation 3 SLIM gaming console. It is a security enclosure made from a tough 3/16" cast acrylic that is impact resistant and is not easily broken without applying tremendous force.
When this security case is screwed down to an appropriately stationary platform, the case is immovable (there are four pass-through holes in the top of the case for your screw driver).
This enclosure is well-suited to Internet cafes, college dorms or any place where the Playstation may be stolen or tampered with.
All edges are bonded to one another permanently. Openings allows for wire pass-through, on-off and disc changing. Front door is lockable via camlock. Two keys are provided.
At the point of manufacture, all edges are hand-flamed to produce a clear look.
We use a cast clear acrylic that offers superior strength and clarity and we do not place multiple drill holes in our product. Our belief is that a bonded Playstation enclosure is tough, whereas a product with multiple drill holes weakens the unit severely. Our case simply offers superior structural strength.
Horizontal positioning of the Playstation is important to security. If the enclosure were designed in a vertical position, the case would be more prone to toppling and ripping (using the case itself as leverage) from a desktop surface. In a horizontal
position, the case is practically immovable without tremendous force being applied and no real human leverage can be applied against the weight of the four machine screws holding it down (that is why our case only comes in a horizontal
