Our Burnaby office is seeking a Security System Integration Technician to join our growing small office.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the primary function of this role is to install and service Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion and various other electronic sub-systems across BC. The Technician is responsible for performing on-site installation and service for a wide range of electronic and PC based systems. He/she will complete tasks following specifications under set deadlines with the outmost attention to detail, and communicate with clients, co-workers and management in an accurate and professional manner.
To become a member of this high performing team, the successful candidate will possess the following:
Must have 3-5 years experience in security or low voltage system installation
Post secondary education in electronics or other related field
Solid basic computer and MS/OS applications knowledge
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Communication and interpersonal skills, with sufficient proficiency in spoken English to communicate with clients
Valid Driver license
Security TQ preferred but not mandatory
