In the gathering dusk of a clear winter day, the flanks of Extra West 5907 are lit by the headlamp of train #7, the Montreal section of the Dominion, as it approaches Banff station. The train is running several hours late; the reason for which is left to the viewer's imagination. The crew of Selkirk #5907 is awaiting orders to proceed, which will likely come shortly after the departure of the behind-schedule passenger train.
